Spec Piece 2 - Facebook Ad for an instant cooker.
Here’s an example Facebook Advert. The product exists but I’ve changed the name a little as this is a fictional ad.
The Client
This ad promotes ‘Insta-Pot UK’, the British sellers of the ‘Insta-Pot electric pressure cooker.
The Business Objective
The Insta-Pot has several target markets, but I’ve targeted this Facebook ad at caravaners – people on holiday with little space.
The Challenge
This product offers many benefits, so it’s critical to link the Facebook targeting with the right benefit. Here, the product is being targeted at caravanners/holidaymakers – people out to have fun. The product brings other benefits, such as being a wonderful gift for anyone starting a home, but this advert isn’t being targeted at that market.
The Solution
This ad focuses on the caravanner’s lack of space. It also recognises that holidaymakers will want to have fun – maybe play a game in the evenings or pop down to the local pub – rather than slave over a stove. The ad itself isn’t likely to lead people into buying right away, so it encourages to people to visit a website to learn more.
The Deliverable
The campaign would deliver one Facebook ad and use a stock photo provided by the company.
